This pretty little Bluebird has been created using little china pieces snipped from a blue, grey and gold plate.
The beak is made from a little piece of china and the eye a little glass gem.
The reverse of this little bird has been covered in an attractive floral paper with a layer of sealer over the top and it hangs with a little thin black ribbon.
The bird measures approx 13cm from the tip of the beak to the tip of the tail and approx 9cm from the top of his head to the bottom of his tummy.
This bird has been created to be displayed indoors.
Although I am very conscious and take time to file any sharp edges due to the nature of using recycled china for mosaic careful handling should be taken at all times in case any sharp edges remain.
My mosaics are not toys and should not be handled by children.
