Ever wanted to have a go at creating your own mosaic but didn't know where to start?

I offer a variety of different workshops from short 2 hour taster sessions to longer weekend workshops.  I also offer 'project' workshops where we work on a larger item over a number of weeks.  All materials are provided and are included in the price unless you are requesting something specific to you which I have to order in. I have loads of mosaic tiles, china plates, templates and embellishments and of course free use of my tools. You are very welcome to bring your own china and embellishments to make your creation more personal to you which is always a lovely thing to do.  The kettle is always on and biscuits are always in the tin - one workshopper said it was worth coming along just for the coffee!

As the glue needs to dry for 24 hours before grouting I will give you a quick demonstration of how to mix and apply grout during your workshop, plus instructions and a bag of powdered grout to take home at the end of the session.  I have added some how to grout videos to the website so help you when you get home.  Alternatively you could book a grouting session and return to the studio and grout under my tutorage.

Mosaic workshops are held at my studio in Banks Mill, Derby and I limit numbers on each session so booking is essential.  My workshops are an opportunity for everyone to get involved.  You can be a complete beginner who just wants to make a coaster or someone who has tried mosaic before and would like to take on a project over a number of sessions. My studio is fully equipped to help you create your own mosaic marvel just get in touch.
